FAQs

materials

We use the best material for the chain and the necklace.

The chain will match composition of the pendant. It's bonded in a way that won't rub or flake off, and it helps protect the item from corrosion more than just plain stainless does.

They shouldn't tarnish really. Depends on how often they're worn and how they are treated.

For the Stainless Steel chain, it won't tarnish through careful use and making sure if it gets wet that it's dried fully before storing. It's suitable to get wet, just not to be kept wet after.

For the 18K gold finish chain, it should last at least a year if it's not knocked around or rubbing against other chains/jewelry. Furthermore, gold doesn't really tarnish, it can be kept clean using plain soap and water.

Hallmarked jewelry is only for solid silver or gold, and even then, not all silver is hallmarked due to practicality. Chains are typically not hallmarked

In addition to the time-honored ancient beauty of gold and silver, our jewelry is also crafted from solid precious metals because of their durability and recyclability. We re-use the waste materials of our design and production processes. All of the raw precious metals we use are made from recycled material, purchased from green certified refineries that meet the highest standards for ethical sourcing and minimal environmental impact. We also recycle all of our scraps generated in the development and production process of our jewelry.

Creating our jewelry in the New Jersey, USA in-house and with small independent producers is an incredibly important aspect of our philosophy. It not only allows us to work closely with the artisans fabricating the jewelry, but it also enables us to deliver handmade pieces to order - keeping a close eye on quality, which we wouldn’t be able to do if we were shipping them from overseas. More importantly, as an American company we want to support other creatives, namely other jewelers, stone setters, casters, CAD artists, and US-based suppliers to the industry. Our jewelry requires precision in fabrication, and that means skilled work from talented individuals. A history of quality craftsmanship is part of the American tradition and has in recent history been in danger of being lost forever in various industries.  Even though we’re small, we’re a company creating new products and we want to be part of supporting the revival of that tradition as well as supporting other small businesses.

We’re grounded in a belief that magnificence lies in elegance, not ostentation. Pursuing sophistication in the unexpected, we create thoughtfully designed pieces that are unique, yet crafted to be versatile and cherished for years.  With aesthetic influences hailing from mid-century architecture and ancient goldsmithing to minimalist art and sculpture, ourentire  collection explores the marriage of daring dichotomies—earthy and modern, streamlined and textured, restrained and sexy, delicate and strong.

Shipping + handling

We can ship anywhere in the world but rates vary according to distance. We use UPS, depending on the destination country.  You will see the shipping cost at checkout.

We could not offer free shipping at this time since our jewelries are selling at the best price, customers will pay a small fee for USPS/ UPS shipping.

We are in the pandemic and here is how international shipping work:

- All items get sorted in USA, into containers. They are then awaiting transit on spare cargo with passenger flights. The huge drop in these flights and lack of direct ones, means the containers get routed via other countries and more slowly.

- When they reach a 3rd country, they do not get re-scanned, as they're already in containers for their final destination.

- At the third country, the item waits for further passenger cargo capacity or road transit capacity to continue on

- It'll finally get a new scan once it has been unloaded and sorted in the 3rd countries, after it has passed customs. Only then does it get a tracking update again.

All in all, this is taking 3-5 weeks at present, from when it leaves the US. Typically within 3. but sometimes more. This is sadly unavoidable until the flight routes and capacity raise up again.

Ireland has a direct flight it can be routed on. It will take approximately 14 days to Ireland, but our customers usually got it sooner.
